Lake Wallace captured our hearts from the moment we arrived. From impressive views to perfect camping positions this spot has it all and is located only 10 minutes from the heart of Lithgow.

Lake Wallace is RV friendly, accommodates your furry friends and includes loads of amenities. From picture perfect views over the lake to cycling and walking tracks and an impressive playground. This recreation area has something to please every member of your family and is completely FREE!!

Park your RV on the watersedge and watch the sunset over Lithgow with a glass of your favourite wine.

Easily head back into Lithgow to enjoy a restaurant meal, a trip to Zig Zag Railway or Glow Worm Tunnel.

Wheeny Creek – Kurrajong

Nestled on the banks of Wheeny Creek is this family friendly camping ground. Wheeny Creek is located in Kurrajong which is in the heart of the Hawkesbury.

This camping area is perfect for tents or camper trailers and offers peaceful surrounds while you listen to the Bell Birds whistling in the trees.

Bookings are essential.

The Hawkesbury offers lots of attractions from picking your own fruit at the local orchards, to markets, amazing restaurants and the impressive Hawkesbury River. Visit the historic towns of Richmond & Windsor and the stunning architecture they offer.

The Six Foot Track – Oberon

Oberon has a vast array of camping areas along Jenolan Caves Road. The Six Foot Track is a famous walking track that is tackled by avid hikers. Generally hikers choose The Six Foot Track Camp area to set up camp for the night. For those not as keen to hike the track you can easily drive it in a 4WD. The track leads to a river which is fantastic for swimming and is perfect for the kids.

From the Six Foot Track you can easily venture to the Jenolan Caves for a day trip and discover more of Oberon. There are free flowing creeks in the area surrounded by stunning bushland which is a must see!

Turon Gates – Capertee Valley

Turon Gates Campground is located on the Turon River in the Capertee Valley, approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney. It’s the perfect bush hideaway in an unspoiled location.

The campground is both RV and camper trailer friendly, with access via a well maintained unsealed road. This incredible camping spot is perfect for swimming or kayaking with campfires being permitted (subject to the season).
