‘Malibu Caravans’ Handover Tutorial

Our Malibu Caravan range are our luxury 5-6 berth family caravans, ranging from 19.6ft to 22ft.

We’ve created these simple to follow video tutorials to help you understand how to set up and use the main components of our Malibu caravans.

Please take the time to carefully watch each video and record any questions you may wish to ask when you come to collect the van.

EXTERNAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Caravan Tow Hitch Hook Up. Important Note: Malibulicious, Big Blue & Excape have a D035 Hitch. Family Adventure has a Standard Tow Ball Hitch. Both styles of Hitches are explained in the video below.

2. Levelling the Caravan.

3. Stabiliser Legs.

4. Gas Bottle Operation.

5. Front Tool Box & included contents. (Our Excape Model does not have a front tool box. All items are stored in the vehicles tunnel boot.)

6. External Features of the Caravans. Main door operation,  Picnic Table, Mains Power & Water, Water Tank Filler Points, Tunnel Boot & External Lights.

7. Slide Out Kitchen. Featured kitchen is the model in our Family Adventure. Our Excape has a similar kitchen also. Malibulicious & Big Blue have a Dometic Kitchen, it has the same set up principal but is a different style.

INTERNAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Main Power Hub Operation. Details on Hot Water System operation, Solar Control, Water Tank Control Panel, Master Switch & Circuit Breaker.

2. Operating the Windows, Blinds & Roof Vents. 

3. Connecting the TV & Setting up the TV Antenna.

4. Fridge & Freezer Operation. Please Note: Big Blue & Family Adventure have Thetford 2 way units. Malibulicious & Excape have Dometic 3 way units. Both style of fridge/freezers are featured in this video.

5.   Operation of the Microwave, Stereo , Washing Machine & Sirocco Fans. All Malibu models have the same Microwave & Washing Machine (Please Note: Washing Machines are included in our Malibulicious, Big Blue & Family Adventure Caravans)

6. Full Internal Walk Through. This video includes Stove & Oven operation, Storage & Contents. (Please Note: Excape has a Stove & Griller only)

7. Ensuite. Operation of Toilet & Shower. 

8. Diesel Heater. Included in all models.

9. Table Conversion into 4th Single Bed. Suitable for Children Only. (Please Note: Malibulicious, Big Blue & Family Adventure include convertible tables)

10. Inverter Operation. (Included in all models except our Family Adventure)

11. SAFETY. Smoke Alarm & CO2 Alarm. All of our caravans are fitted with CO2 (CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS).

In the event of a DIESEL LEAK you WILL NOT SMELL THE FUMES. If THIS ALARM GOES OFF EVACUATE THE CARAVAN IMMEDIATLY!
